PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate a lock-releasing operation, and to reduce the number of part items, when a locking mechanism for a seat slide device is constituted by a slide-locking mechanism and an interlock member. SOLUTION: A slide-locking mechanism 21 arranged between a fixed rail 12 and a slide member 13, an interlock member is also arranged, and lock release for the locking mechanism 21 is conducted by operating either of a frontside operation lever 27 or a rearside operation lever 28. Lock release for the interlock member is carried out by turning up a seat cushion 18 or by operating either of the operation lever 27 or 28, and locked conditions in the slide-locking mechanism 21 and the interlock member are released by a common operation lever.
