PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely hold a closing condition with a simple structure. SOLUTION: This flow control valve is provided with a valve element 27 disposed freely to be brought into contact and separate with/from a valve seat 22 by moving a valve shaft 26; a spring 29 for energizing the valve shaft 26 in a direction where the valve element 27 is brought into contact with the valve seat 22 by prescribed force; a movable iron core 39 disposed freely to be brought into contact and separate with/from the valve shaft 26 while moving coaxially with the valve shaft 26; a first electromagnet 38 for being brought into contact the movable iron core 39 with the valve shaft 26 by attracting the movable iron core 39 and for moving the valve shaft 26 in a direction where the valve element 27 is separated from the valve seat 22 against prescribed force of the spring 29; and a second electromagnet 44 for separating the movable iron core 39 from the valve shaft 26 by attracting the movable iron core 39 while the valve element 27 is brought into contact with the valve seat 22.
