PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To miniaturize a transmission, to secure the space to install a one-way clutch for a back stop, and to enhance the lubricity of the one-way clutch by use of a simple structure. SOLUTION: In this starting clutch 10, an input-side element 23 and an output- side element 21 are brought into frictional engagement with each other on receiving axial load. A non-rotating element 51 is positioned within the starting clutch and a one-way clutch 50 is provided between the non-rotating element 51 and output-side element portions 52, 16.
