PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve workability in repairs of a gas leakage part in a place where a jig cannot be used by employing a sealant for piping formed by compounding a urethane resin prepolymer and a silicone-based resin. SOLUTION: The subject sealant comprises a first liquid comprising a moisture-curable urethane resin prepolymer having a weight-average mol.wt. of 250-4,000 and a solvent in a wt. ratio of about 2/1 and a second liquid comprising 100 pts.wt. of a room temperature curable silicone-based resin and 5-40 pts.wt. of an inorganic oxide such as alumina or the like. The urethane resin prepolymer is preferably one having isocyanate groups on both ends and is prepared from a polyisocyanate compound such as a crude diphenylmethane-4,4- diisocyanate or the like and a polyhydroxy compound such as a castor oil or the like. The silicone-based resin includes alkyd-modified silicone resins, phenol-modified silicone resins, melamine-modified silicone resins, epoxy-modified silicone resins, amino-modified silicone resins and the like.
