PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device on an existing star wheel and to surely grasp a container. SOLUTION: In this device, a container 1 taken into a pocket 11a of a star wheel 11 is grasped by an arm 16 made oscillatable by an air cylinder 17. In this case, the arm 16 is provided on only an advancing direction side of the container 1, the container 1 is grasped by the pocket 11a and the arm 16, and a contact part of the container 1 and the arm 16 is located at the outside of a pitch circle 20 of the pocket 11a.
