PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper box which can be easily disassembled by flipping up the internal end plate. SOLUTION: A side wall 20 is continuously connected to both side edges of a base plate 1, and an end wall 21 is continuously connected to both end edges of the base plate 1 respectively. Then, an external side plate and an internal side plate 3 are provided on the side wall 20, and an external end plate 4 and an internal end plate 5 are provided on the end wall 21 respectively sequentially from the base plate 1 side. Then, folding-in pieces 6 and 7 extended outward from the end edges of respective side plates 3, are pinched between the external end plate 4 and the internal end plate 5. Thus, the rocking of the internal end plate 5 is stopped, and the shape of this paper box is retained. In such a paper box, a slit 10 which extends in the lateral direction is formed on a section of the internal end plate 5, which is not superposed with the folding-in pieces 6 and 7, and the both end sections are tilted along the end edges of the folding-in pieces 6 and 7. Since the internal end plate 5 deforms due to a difference in the thickness of the sections which are superposed and are not superposed with the folding-in pieces 6 and 7, and opens along the slit 10. Therefore, the internal end plate 5 is flipped up by engaging a finger with the opening edge, and the paper box can be easily disassembled.
