PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce power consumption and remove an effect causing neck shadow by attaching semicircular rings having division grooves on the large diameter and the small diameter parts of a ferrite core covering the outside of deflection coils whose horizontal and vertical convergence correction coils are formed of saddle coils and by winding the convergence correction coil around the rings. SOLUTION: A coil is constituted by toroidally (radially) winding convergence coils 3 in division grooves between projections 5 of semicircular ring mold winding frame 4 having the division grooves in the large diameter part and the small diameter part of a ferrite core which cover the outsides of deflecting horizontal coils 1 and deflecting vertical coils 2 and form a magnetic field, and the joint use of the deflecting ferrite core can provide the convergence correction coil with long magnetic field length. When using a highly accurate coil winder, the convergence coil of the same effect can be provided by directly winding to the ferrite core without using a semicircular-diameter ring mold frame.
