PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inclination switch without generating wear and capable of sensing inclination only in a certain restricted direction. SOLUTION: An inclination switch is composed of a case 2 made of non- magnetic substance, a reed switch 3 installed inside the case 2, a permanent magnet 4 installed inside the case 2 in such a way as opposing to the reed switch 3, a swash plate 5 made of non-magnetic substance, having a slope 52, and installed inside the case 2 in such a way as interposed between the reed switch 3 and permanent magnet 4, and a rod-shaped magnetic member 6 installed on the swash plate 5 in such a way as rolling and positioned as specified by means of the slope 52 when it is in the horizontal situation.
