PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the loss of parts and improve the workability on the attaching job site in a bracing device for a sliding door which is fixed to the sliding door and stops its dislocation from the door frame. SOLUTION: A main body 10 of a bracing device which is attached to the upper end of a sliding door and has a sliding end elastically interposed between a rail and the end portion of a top rail of the sliding door, and a stopper moving back and forth by facing the rail is assembled in the main body 10 of the bracing device assembled with its members and a stopper holder 19 is also formed in one united body from one end of the main body to its lower portion. The stopper holder 19 constitutes a sliding and holding groove and fits and supports a rod-shaped stopper 24 formed with another member in a freely slidable manner in up-down direction. Also, a slot 28 is made in the stopper 24, fastening screw insertion holes 29, 30 are drilled in the side wall of a slide holding groove of the stopper holder 19, fastening screws 31 inserted in the order of a fastening screw insertion hole, a slot, and a fastening screw insertion hole are screwed and fastened to the end face of stiles of the sliding door to be installed, and the position of the stopper 24 is adjusted and fastened and, at the same time, bracing device itself is fixed.
