PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a water dispersible releasable composition stably dispersed in water without using an emulsifier, excellent in peelability, hardly polluting an adhesive surface after delamination, having high residual adhesive strength and useful e.g. for pressure sensitive adhesive sheets by adding a specific acrylic monomer to a reaction system, followed by polymerization. SOLUTION: This composition comprises (A) a releasable acrylic polymer having 12-24C long-chain alkyl group and (B) a polyurethane obtained by reacting (i) a polyol component (preferably polyetherpolyol etc.), with (ii) a polyisocyanate component, both ingredients A and B are dispersed in water, and the ingredient A, the component i and the component ii are contained in respective amounts of 40-90 wt.%, 5-50 wt.% and 1-20 wt.% in solid contents. The composition preferably is obtained by way of the following steps: reacting the component i with the component ii; adding a monomer mainly comprising an alkyl (meth)acrylate having 12-24C long-chain alkyl group to the reaction product; neutralizing carboxyl group contained in the component i; and dispersing them.
