STRUCTURE OF GABLE SECTION OF ROOF

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain appearance under the same stepped state as the roofing of a verge tile though the gable-side end section of a roof is treated by using a verge drain board. SOLUTION: Verge drain boards 4 are disposed at every roofing tile 5 positioned at a gable-side end section, the side end sections of the top face sections of roofing tiles 5 of the interest are covered with the upper horizontal pieces 1 of each verge drain board 4, and front hanging pieces 3 are hung at the front end sections of the roofing tiles 5 of the interest and the side sections of the roofing tiles 5 of the interest and the side sections of overlapping sections with the roofing tiles 5 at the lower stages of the front ends of the roofing tiles 5 of the interest are covered with drooping pieces 2. The underside sections 3a of the front hanging pieces 3 of the front end sections of the verge drain boards 4 at upper stages and the front end sections of the drooping pieces 2 are superposed at the rear end sections of the top faces of the upper horizontal pieces 1 of the verge drain board 4 at lower stages and the rear end sections of the drooping pieces 2 respectively. The verge drip caps 4 are fixed onto roof foundation materials 6 at the gable-side end section of the roof.
