PURPOSE: A method for preventing putrefaction of organic waste with high moisture content is provided. According to this method, when organic waste with high water is stored and moved for composting, Methionine Hydroxy Analogue (MHA) is added for preventing putrefaction of organic waste. CONSTITUTION: The Methionine Hydroxy Analogue (MHA) comprises 1 wt.% of vitamin C, 1 wt.% of propylene glycol, 10 wt.% of water, and 88 wt.% of 2-hydroxy-4-methylthio-butano acid (HMB). The MHA is mixed with organic waste in a weight ratio of 1:99 from 10:90.
