METHOD FOR CONTROLLING DENSITY OF CLEANSING AGENT IN WASHING MACHINE

PURPOSE: A method for controlling density of a cleansing agent in a washing machine is provided to handle automatically the density of a cleansing agent by detecting accurately the capacity of washing laundry. CONSTITUTION: A method for controlling density of a cleansing agent in a washing machine comprises the following steps. The AC power for rotating a drum motor is applied and a predetermined time is counted when the washing laundry is inserted within a washing drum. An alternative current of the drum motor is converted to a direct current and the converted current is detected. An amplitude of the drum motor is checked on the basis of the converted current. The counting time is finished if the current of the drum motor overcomes a state of over-amplitude. The capacity of the washing laundry and the water level are determined according to the counting time. A cleansing agent of a predetermined capacity is inserted automatically into the washing drum on the basis of the determined water level.
