PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce noise to be generated from a residual-pressure retention valve.SOLUTION: A vehicle includes an engine 10 having a port injection valve 54, a fuel tank 511 for storing fuel to be injected from the port injection valve 54, a feed pump 512 for sucking the fuel from the fuel tank 511 and supplying it to the port injection valve 54, and a residual-pressure retention valve 516 provided on the downstream side of the feed pump 512 for retaining a pressure in a fuel pipe communicated with the port injection valve 54. The residual-pressure retention valve 516 becomes an open state to return the fuel from the fuel pipe into the fuel pump when the pressure in the fuel pipe is higher than a valve opening pressure, while it becomes a closed state when the pressure in the fuel pipe is lower than the valve opening pressure. In the case that there is a request to drop the target pressure of the fuel to be supplied to the feed pump 512, a control device 100 does not drop the target pressure when the load of the engine 10 is lower than a predetermined value, but drops the target pressure when the load of the engine is higher than the predetermined value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
