PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication terminal, a communication system, a communication control method, and a program that prevent an image displayed by one function from becoming difficult of visual recognition due to the control of display by another function when a plurality of functions sharing images between communication terminals are activated.SOLUTION: A communication control unit of an electronic blackboard 2c controls communication with an electronic blackboard 2b via a server unit of an electronic blackboard 2a. The communication control unit of the electronic blackboard 2c controls communication with a PC 8. A superposition unit of the electronic blackboard 2c controls the display of an image based on content data distributed by the server unit of the electronic blackboard 2a.
