PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular heating system which is inexpensive and effective even when an internal combustion engine is operated or stopped, and also to perform appropriate control according to the conditions of a vehicular key switch and a heater switch for operating a combustion heater. SOLUTION: An electrically driven pump 8 and a combustion heater 9 for heating cooling water passed through a branch passage by burning fuel are arranged in the branch passage for cooling water for an internal combustion engine, and a control circuit 14 is provided which easily and appropriately controls the combustion heater 9 by reference to the conditions of a vehicle and an outside air temperature. Therefore, a driver can appropriately operate this heating system for an automobile by reference to a key switch.
