PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the increase of a chip size and cost-up caused by a wiring area by reducing the number of wiring between the register block and data transfer part of a data transfer device. SOLUTION: Multiplexers 114, 134 and 154 for selecting data buses are provided for each of blocks of the data transfer device having plural registers. A data transfer part 124 is provided with a counter 119, a multiplexer 120 for selecting one of data buses 115, 135 and 155 from the respective blocks and address translators 117, 137 and 157 for generating the address signals of respective blocks. The data bus is selected by the multiplexer so that the number of wiring between the block and the data transfer part can be reduced. Further, select signal generators 125, 145 and 165 are provided for reporting the selection of blocks on the basis of the information of the counter 119 so that current consumption can be reduced by fixing the data bus when the data bus of the block is not selected.
