PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide portable terminals and an information distribution system which can reduce amounts of traffic between a base station and the portable terminals and also distribute information to an appropriate reception terminal.SOLUTION: A portable terminal 3 comprises: a first communication unit 321 which performs radio communication with a base station 2, and receives distribution information from a server 1 via the base station 2; a storage control unit 332 which stores the received distribution information in a relay side storage unit 31; a second communication unit 322 which performs direct radio communication with one or more reception terminals 4; a determination unit 333 which determines whether to distribute the distribution information; and a distribution unit 334 which, when the determination unit 333 determines to distribute the distribution information, controls the second communication unit 322 to transmit the distribution information in order to distribute the distribution information to the one or more reception terminals 4. |
