PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To readily make the connection strong and sure by using a clip in the case where a flexible cable is connected to a head substrate having at least a heating resistor formed thereon such that the flexible cable is extended straight. SOLUTION: This clip 14 is made of a plate spring and is formed such that the cross section thereof is in a U-shape, and then a piled-up section of a head substrate 2 with a flexible cable 24 is covered by the clip such that the section is elastically nipped in the piling direction. In the clip 14, a slit hole 31 to which the flexible cable 24 is inserted is provided to a coupling section 15 for coupling a pressing section 18 to be contacted to a surface of the flexible cable 24 with a rear receiving section 29 of the head substrate 2.
