PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely detect a half fitted state in fitting a male and female connectors to each other and implement a half fitting prevention function and a lock function with another members. SOLUTION: In this connector 1, a flexibly deformable lock arm 9 having a lock projection 13 at its tip is formed at one end of a housing 4 constituting a first connector 2, and a slider 31 for preventing half fitting by generating repulsion by its elasticity is housed in the housing 4. An engagement part 24 for locking the lock projection 13 of the lock arm 9 is formed at one end of a housing 16 constituting a second connector 3, and an abutting projection 23 for abutting an abutted part 34 formed on the slider 31 is formed. Therefore, since the lock arm 9 for locking the first connector 2 to the second connector 3, and the slider 31 for preventing half fitting are formed of another members, locking of the connector can surely be implemented even if the slider 31 is damaged.
