PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an IC measuring socket capable of being manufactured in a short manufacturing period at low cost and easily coping with changes in outer shape. SOLUTION: This socket includes a plate-shaped conducting member (anisotropic conducting sheet) 60 which can conduct only in the vertical direction in which it is sectioned, a positioning frame member (alignment plate) 40 having an opening 41 positioned along the outer form of an IC to be measured, a plate- shaped socket body member 50 having a holding means formed on its lower surface for holding the plate-shaped conducting member 60 and having an opening 52 into which the positioning frame member 40 is removably fitted, and a cover member 20 having an IC retainer 21 for retaining the IC to be measured which is inserted into the positioning frame member 40, and capable of being pressed against the socket body member 50.
