PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved expansible cable used for a communication device, which still maintains a memory action after many times of expansions, and which does not substantially change in electrical attenuation. SOLUTION: A cable 100 is provided with a plurality of coaxial cables 110 embedded in a jacket. At least one of a plurality of the coaxial cables is provided with an inside conductor 120, a conductive insulator 130 surrounding the inside conductor 120, and a shield 140 surrounding the conductive insulator 130. It is desirable that one of a plurality of the coaxial cables is further provided with a protecting layer 150 surrounding the shield 140, and the three coaxial cables are embedded in the jacket, and the jacket has Shore hardness of 36D, and the jacket is constructed of material selected from such group that polyester, polyurethane, polyethylene, and a polymer containing polyvinyl chloride.
