PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a merchandise sample with which a sample display board can be detained to a holder without using double coated tacky adhesive tapes. SOLUTION: A tobacco sample 1 simulating a box in which tobacco is housed consists of the bendable sample display board 2, a holder 3 and a fixing member 4 assembled to the holder 3. The sample display board 2 has a front part 2a which is wound around the holder 3 and forms the front of the tobacco sample 1 and flank parts 2b which are extended from the respective right and left side ends of the front part 2a and form the respective right and left flanks of the tobacco sample 1. Further, the sample display board 2 has the first parts 2d to be fixed which are extended from the rear ends of the flank parts 2b. The first parts 2d to be fixed of the sample display board 2 are fixed to the holder 3 in a manner as to be held between the holder 3 and the fixing member 4.
