PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a building unit which can be connected easily to a lower structure such as a foundation or a building unit in a lower floor and on which an upper-floor building unit can be connected easily, the connecting structure of the building unit and the connecting method of the building unit. SOLUTION: In the building unit 20 in which a column 23 is formed in a hollow shape and the bottom section of a column 33 for an upper-floor building unit 30 is joined with the top section of the column, an upper cover 5 with a nut 6, to which a bolt 8 for connecting the unit can be screwed, is installed detachably at the top section of the column 23, and an end face plate 9, to which a bolt 41 for connecting the unit is inserted and retained, is mounted on the bottom section of the column 23.
