Multi-pole water tight plugs can be fabricated with improved sealing properties and a reduction in the size of the plug housing, and comprise an inner housing (3) made of plastics material within the plug housing (2) of the water-tight plug (1), and in which a number of terminal sleeve spaces (receptacles) (4) are arranged in a vertical and horizontal direction. The terminal sleeve spaces/receptacles (4) are formed in a vertical direction in two rows and in a horizontal direction in three rows, and have an outer plastics housing (5) in which the inner housing (3) is inserted.
