PURPOSE: An inner case for refrigerator is provided to keep the stored foodstuff fresh over a long period of time by forming the inner case with the material containing loess. CONSTITUTION: An inner case includes a heat exchanger compartment and a food storage compartment. The food storage chamber is made of a component material(a) where a substrate sheet(33) is adhered to a wood plate(31) by using a loess adhesive(32). The wood plate has a plurality of heat conduction holes(36). A loess material(37), an intermediate sheet(34), a top sheet(35), and a loess material(37a) are stacked in sequence onto the substrate sheet. The food storage chamber is assembled in such a manner that thus-formed loess layer is directed toward the inner compartment of the refrigerator. The heat exchange compartment of a closed type is arranged between the food storage compartments, and a refrigerant circulation pipe(4) is arranged in the heat exchange compartment.
