PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a baking machine capable of deliciously baking food to be baked including much fat such as meet. SOLUTION: This machine is provided with a baking table 2 for placing food to be baked M, a heat source 3 for heating with respect to this table 2, a cover 4 for covering the food M on the table 2 from its upper side in an openable and closable and a means 5 for generating steam atmosphere in a space P between the table 2 and the cover 4. Since baking of the food M in a partially overheating state is suppressed by this, excessive fat is properly removed and the unique deliciousness of the food M is kept.
