<p>A method for producing acrylonitrile by ammoxidation of propylene, which comprises using a fluidized bed catalyst comprising iron, antimony, molybdenum, bismuth, potassium, F element, G element, H element and silica as essential components at a specific composition ratio and containing iron antimonate being present as a crystalline phase, wherein F element is at least one element selected from the group consisting of magnesium, calcium, strontium, barium, manganese, cobalt, nickel, copper, silver, zinc and cadmium, G element is at least one element selected from the group consisting of chromium, aluminum, gallium and indium, and H element is at least one element selected from the group consisting of yttrium, lanthanum, cerium, praseodymium, neodymium and samarium; and the above-mentioned catalyst for the production of acrylonitrile by ammoxidation of propylene. The method can be used for achieving a high yield and maintaining it for a long period of time in the production of acrylonitrile by ammoxidation of propylene.</p> |
