PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a woody fence capable of having a simplified construction for side boards to be installed to the front and rear surfaces of a middle column. SOLUTION: A woody bottom frame is fitted and erected between supports erected oppositely, a side edge portion of a woody lattice is fitted by sliding to a longitudinal groove of a top end opening formed at the side portion of the support, the support is constituted by installing two side boards on the front and rear surfaces along the middle column and a groove portion formed between these side boards is used as the longitudinal groove of the top end opening, the width of the groove of the top end opening is set to a width into which the tip end portion of the woody bottom frame can be fitted, the top portion of the woody bottom frame is arranged with a lattice holding member extending along the bottom frame and holding the front and rear surfaces of the bottom edge portion of the woody lattice, and the lattice holding member is installed at a position where its tip portion is not fitted in the longitudinal groove of the top end opening.
