PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joint cutting material which facilitates height adjustment of a joint material and exhibits good workability. SOLUTION: There is provided a joint cutting material for use in forming a joint on a protective concrete layer, which is comprised of a pedestal member 3 arranged on a skeleton in a joint direction, as appropriate, and has a slope portion 31 extending in a direction orthogonal to the joint direction, and a joint main body 4 which is arranged on the pedestal member 3 to form the joint. Then, a movement regulating means 6 is formed, which consists of an engaging groove 61 formed in the slope portion 31 of the pedestal member 3 and an engaging projection 62 formed on a bottom portion of the joint main body 4. By moving the joint main body 4 in parallel in the sloping direction of the slope portion 31, the height from the top surface of a skeleton to the top surface of the joint main body 4 covered with a cap member 5 can be made variable, to thereby adjust the height of the joint.
