PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the glass-tube fuse of a capacitor for washing machine easily exchangeable, so as to prevent occurrence of a fire when a film capacitor becomes punctured, while the capacitor is used in an AC circuit by shutting off the current flowing to the fuse, namely, disconnecting the capacitor by connecting the fuse in series with one lead wire of the element, and in addition, to make the capacitor easily exchangeable by adopting a plug-in system. SOLUTION: Since an embedded type fuse holder is attached to a plastic case, a glass-tube fuse used in a capacitor for washing machine can be replaced easily. In addition, the capacitor itself can also be replaced easily, because wiring can be made by only inserting a plug-in plug CN-11 stuck to the plastic case housing a capacitor element as the terminal of the capacitor. This capacitor cannot be used for a washing machine of 100 VAC or higher, because the rated voltage of the capacitor element is 200 VDC.
