PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a master batch for producing a molding product composed of an inexpensive flame-retardant polymer composite material showing flame retardance. SOLUTION: This master batch for molding comprises a polymer composite material obtained by dispersing a composite particle 10 for imparting flame retardance, having a structure obtained by combining a supporting material particle 1 with a compound layer 2 containing a silicon component and/or a metal component and oxygen into a matrix composed of a polymer material such as a resin, etc. When the molding product produced from the master batch is heated to a high temperature, the compound layer of the composite particle 10 for imparting flame retardance forms a protective film for inhibiting combustion by the high temperature and attains high flame-retardant performances. The master batch can be used as a molding material having a high fluidity in various molding machine such as an injection molding machine, etc., by the constitution as the master batch. In its turn, the master batch greatly contributes to simplification of molding process and increase in efficiency.
