PEARL PIGMENT FOR COSMETIC TREATED WITH FLUORINE-BASED COPOLYMER AND COSMETIC CONTAINING THE SAME PEARL PIGMENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pearl pigment for a cosmetic giving a good feeling with a minor collapse of making-up to the cosmetic, and to provide the cosmetic containing the same pearl pigment. SOLUTION: This pearl pigment for the cosmetic is obtained by treating the pearl pigment with a fluorine-based copolymer containing (a) repeating units derived from a fluorine-based (meth)acrylate in an amount of 5-95 wt.%, (b) repeating units derived from a silicon-containing polymerizable compound in an amount of 1-50 wt.%, and/or (c) repeating units derived from a non- fluorine based monomer other than the silicon-containing polymerizable compound of the component (b) in an amount of 0-50 wt.%.
