PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a natural rock as harmless against an alkali silica reaction since in the case of breaking the natural rock to make aggregates for a concrete, in many occasion, such aggregates can not be used as the aggregates for the concrete because of the alkali silica reaction, and to open a way of using as the aggregate used for the concrete. SOLUTION: This method for modifying the natural aggregate for the concrete is to heat the alkali silica reactive aggregate with a flux or without flux at a temperature capable of melting at least a part of it and then cooling gradually from that heating temperature for progressing its crystallization.
