PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a marine vessel allowed to increase dead-weight without increasing gross tonnage. SOLUTION: In this marine vessel 1, a parallel part 5 almost parallel on the vessel side of both right and left boards is provided between a bow part and a stern part, and each vessel side shell plate 11 of at least the parallel part 5 is composed of a lower shell plate (a) continuous with a bilge shell plate 10, an upper shell plate (c) connected to an upper deck 7 and provided deflecting inward in a vessel cross direction from the lower shell plate (a), and a connecting shell plate (b) for connecting the upper end of the lower shell plate (a) to the lower end of the upper shell plate (c).
