PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a weather strip having a compact structure and maintaining excellent sealing performance. SOLUTION: This weather strip is so constructed that plural pair of locking pieces are projected from the opposite inside surfaces of the leg part of a trim part having a substantially U-shaped cross section toward the center, and a hollow seal part is projected from an upper outer surface of the trim part toward the upper side. In the weather strip, the trim part is formed by extrusion molding so that a zipper groove part in which a zipper is pressed is recessed rather closer to the hollow seal part in the outside surface of the leg part and it has a U-shaped cross section in a little split state, whereby when the zipper formed of synthetic solid rubber material, thermoplastic resin material or a fusing thermoplastic elastomer material is pressed in the zipper groove part after the weather strip is vulcanized, the leg part of the trip part having a U-shaped cross section in a little split state is closed so that the respective tips of the plural paired opposite locking pieces are made close to each other to surely hold a body flange BF.
