PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil filled transformer for preventing the sharp increase of costs of a single oil filled transformer, for obtaining the diagnostic result of the deterioration of the insulating sheet or insulating material of the oil filled transformer in a real time, for reducing the labor of the work by making it unnecessary to hang the contents of the transformer, and for minimizing the power failure time in a technique for diagnosing the deteriorating situation of the insulating sheet of the oil filled transformer, by irradiating the insulating sheet or insulating material of the oil filled transformer with lights, and measuring the reflection absorbing light intensity. SOLUTION: This oil filled transformer equipped with an iron core 1, a coil 2, insulating coil 3, and a tank 4 is provided with a probe guide member 8 for guiding a probe 92 of a deterioration diagnostic device 91 inserted from the outside of the transformer to a position at which the deteriorating situation of an insulating sheet 21 or an insulating material 24 can be diagnosed by irradiating the insulting sheet 21 or the insulating material 24 with lights, and measuring the reflection absorbing light intensity.
