PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electromagnetic relay that facilitates adjustment of the sensitivity of connection and disconnection between both contacts. SOLUTION: An electromagnetic relay comprises a relay iron 1 forming a magnetic poles 1a, 1b by winding a coil 3, pole contact member 4 pivoted by being attracted to and repulsed from the magnetic poles 1a, 1b of the relay iron according to the excited state of the coil 3, stationary contact plate 11 with a stationary contact 11b, moveable spring 9 with a moveable contact 9b facing the stationary contact 11b, and guide 12 linked to the pole contact member 4 for displacing the moveable spring 9 to contact or separate the moveable contact 9b with the stationary contact 11b according to pivoting motion of the pole contact member 4. The moveable spring 9 is resiliently deformed according to the direction of displacement so as to adjust the facing distance between the two contacts 9b, 11b.
