PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information reproducing device having a music retrieving function of easily and securely retrieving music, without letting a user misjudge nor do complicated operation, when the music that the user desires is retrieved from plural recording media. SOLUTION: A CPU 1 for compositely controlling the overall operation of a CD bank reproducing device 12 is arranged and an operation key part 2, a display unit 5, a reproducing mechanism unit 6, and an audio output part 8 are connected to the CPU. The operation key part 2 is composed of a reproduction command key group 3 and an introduction storage key 4. The display unit 5 mainly displays a CD title in characters, and the reproducing mechanism unit 6 reproduces one CD selected from among CDs stored in a CD bank part 7 to send music data (a) to the audio output part 8 and outputs data (b) extracted from the music data (a) and text data (c) to a memory 9.
