PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To settle a loading method which stably floats an optical head in proximity field recording using the optical head on which an SIL(solid immersion lens) is mounted. SOLUTION: A disk 2 provided with an area 1 for floating is used, and the optical head on which the SIL is mounted is moved to an objective place in a recording and reproducing area 3 to perform recording and reproducing after being floated in the area 1 for floating.
