SUBSTANCE: isolator has case incorporating V- and T-joints of rectangular waveguides, case cover, quarter-wave matching transformer in the form of one or two metal pedestals, ferrite cavity, absorbing load, and magnetic system. Novelty is that its absorbing load is mounted on one of pedestals with narrow end of load spaced 0.5 to 5 mm from ferrite cavity and with load length reduced to 25-2 ClySiCH2SiMezClt or Mex ClySiSiMewCl[SiMezClt]ncn>=1. Narrow end of absorbing load may be provided with depression partially covering ferrite cavity.
