PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a cap from being broken when a plug is opened and further prevent it from being bulged out when the plug is installed at a carbonated beverage bottle, in the plug opening member capable of opening the plug and removing the cap. SOLUTION: This plug opening member comprises a plug opening member 2 having a protuberance 6 with a smaller diameter than that of a pouring-out port at one surface of a flange 4, and a removing member 3 having a cylinder 7 having axially formed slits 8 protruded around a hole 10 at one surface of a flange segment 6 formed with the hole 10 through which a protuberance 5 can pass. The plug opening is performed by the plug opening member 2 and the breakage of cap is performed under a combination of the plug opening member 2 and the removing member 3, resulting in that the cap is not damaged when the plug is opened. Since the plug is installed to the carbonated beverage bottle under a combination of the plug opening member 2 and the removing member 3, it does not become cumbersome.
