PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system capable of more effectively transacting between a customer and a service provider. SOLUTION: A transaction system 10 has a customer station 18 and a service provider station 14, and is operated in a building 12 or the other equipment. Voice and image communication is performed between a customer 20 of the customer station and a service provider 16 of the service provider station. An item is exchanged between the customer and the service provider via a carrier 26 sent through an air tube system 22. An image material providing device 50 provides an image material to a display 110 of the customer station. When a customer terminal is not in a communication state with a service provider terminal, the image material is presented to the customer. The customer station can be easily equipped and arranged in a facility so as to maximize a floor space usable for the other purpose.
