PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the failure of an image caused by the soiling of a grid without requiring much labor and man-hour. SOLUTION: The grid 322 is provided with four grid surfaces 322a to 322d. When one grid surface 322a is soiled, the entire grid 322 is rotated so that another new grid surface 322b may be opposed to a photoreceptor drum 31 side. Just by thus doing, the grid surface 322a is more easily switched to the clear grid surface 322b without requiring the labor and man-hour that a serviceman detaches an electrifier 32 from a copying device and cleans the grid 322 by using a sponge member or exchanges the electrifier 32 itself as shown in the conventional manner even in the case of the soiling of the grid of a mesh type.
