摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device in which increase in the electric resistance or decrease in the reliability in the terminal part due to the injection treatment of a liquid crystal are hardly caused and the probability of interference between the sealing part of the liquid crystal and other members is low. SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display device 10 is produced by injecting a liquid crystal through a liquid crystal injection port 80 between an active matrix substrate 15 and a counter substrate 24 and sealing the liquid crystal injection port 80 with a sealing part 22. The active matrix substrate 15 has a counter region facing the counter substrate and an extended region 140 extended from the counter region and having a terminal part 81 formed thereon. The terminal part 81 and its surrounding region have hydrophilicity. The liquid crystal injection port 80 is formed apart from the terminal part 81 and facing the extended region 140.
