PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reinforcing method and reinforcing construction for concrete pavement, having a simple configuration which can be installed easily, and achieves high reinforcing effect and realizes safety in work. SOLUTION: A primary side concrete layer 7a is poured to the vicinity of an assembly constituted by fitting a front end portion of a first reinforcing bar 2 to a detachable hole 4a of the rear portion of a coupler 4 and hardened into a state with the front end surface of the coupler 4 exposed, only the coupler 4 is pulled out and its portion is made to a coupling hole 6, the rear end portion of the second reinforcing bar 3 is fitted in a front portion hole 1a of a socket 1 and an assembly is constituted, the front end portion of the first reinforcing bar 2 is fitted in a rear hole 1b of the socket 1, and the first reinforcing bar 2 and the second reinforcing bar 3 are jointed via the socket 1, a neighboring secondary side concrete layer 7b is placed by pinching a joint 8 to the primary side concrete layer 7b, and canter portion of the socket 1 is positioned to the joint 8.
