PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a trolley line with detecting wire capable of reducing generation of poisonous gas during fire or the like. SOLUTION: In regard to a trolley line embedded with a detecting wire 20 for wear detection, non-halogen flame retardant resin material is used as cladding material for the detecting wire 20 in the trolley line with detecting wire 1A. During fire or the like, the detecting wire hardly burns because of its flame resistance, and even if it burns, practically no poisonous gas is generated.
