PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a novel iodine monomer compound and its polymer capable of being readily manufactured in the milder conditions than those of a conventional iodohole, and an iodohole using the polymer. SOLUTION: An iodohole uses 1-methyl-3-vinyl-2-imidazolidinone, poly(1- methyl-3-vinyl-2-imidazolizinone), and a complex comprising the poly(1-methyl-3- vinyl-2-imidazolizinone) and iodine.
