PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-thread chain stitching machine to prevent a loop from being included in a looper. SOLUTION: A presser 39 comprises a presser body 40 and a auxiliary presser foot 42. Needle location holes 48 and 49 are formed in a presser plate 44 of the auxiliary presser foot 42, and needles 35 and 36 are passed through the needle location holes 48 and 49. An inclined guide surface 50 is formed on the presser plate 44 forward of the needle location holes 48, 49, and a leaf spring 51 is formed backward thereof. A sash 73 extending in the right-to-left direction is provided between a needle location portion 75 and a back-feed groove 81, the formed loop is guided from the looper 74 onto the sash 73, and fed backward by a feed dog 71. A looper 38 guided to the sash 73 is held by the leaf spring 51 of the auxiliary presser foot 42 and the sash 73, and the loop 38 is reliably prevented from being suspended.
