PURPOSE: A method for using public telephone without coin is provided to enable a user to use a public telephone without coin by accessing to the Internet site, and withdrawing a certain amount of money deposited in a cyber account. CONSTITUTION: A user picks up the handset and presses a button to make an access to the Internet site where the user deposits his money on his cyber account in a certain way. To make an access to his account in the Internet site, the user inputs his own ID and pin number. If the account is open, the deposited money is checked. Then, by using the money deposited, the user can make a phone call with a public phone. Here, the public telephone has to have a two-way communication modem. With the modem, the exchange checks the amount of the money in the user's cyber account, allowing the call of the telephone terminal. The amount of the money deposited on the cyber account is not only the amount deposited, but also other E-money, or the reserve money obtained after purchasing product, namely, various kinds of money available in the Internet and other data communication devices.
